What "Quizizz hack" means in search results

Search for a Quizizz hack or a Quizizz answer hack and the results fall into a few kinds: userscripts on script sites, console code and bookmarklets on GitHub, PDF documents that promise a "cheat network", and YouTube videos that show someone running a script. A smaller group are bots that join games.

They look different, but most of them have the same shape: code you did not write, running on a quiz page, built around how that page looked on the day it was written. This guide compares the kinds honestly. It does not name, link or rate any single script, and it does not explain how to run one.

Every kind of Quizizz hack, side by side

Kind What it asks of you What to know
Userscripts Install a userscript manager extension, then add a script from a script site. The script runs on the page every time it loads. It depends on how the page is built, so it can break when the site changes.
Console code Open the browser's developer tools and paste code into the console. You run code you probably cannot read, in a tab where you are signed in. Same breakage risk.
Bookmarklets Save a line of code as a bookmark, then click it on the quiz. Console code in a bookmark: the same trust question, the same breakage risk.
"Cheat network" PDFs Read a document full of claims and links. No code, only claims you cannot check, often pointing somewhere else.
Script videos Watch someone run a script, then copy what they did. A video shows the page on the day it was made. Check the date.
Bots, flooders, score and power-up hacks Run code aimed at the game: fake players, a changed score, free power-ups. These do not give you an answer. They edit or disrupt the game. We do not build them and do not help with them.
Show-only extension (Canvas Quiz Solver) Add one extension from the Chrome Web Store and click its icon once on the quiz. No code to paste. It reads the question and shows the answer under it. It never clicks, submits or moves a tile.

Kinds of hack, not any single script. We do not test or rate individual scripts.

Why scripts break when the site changes

A script finds the question, the answers and the buttons by how the page is built. When the site changes that structure, the script looks in the wrong place. Quizizz has just been through a big change: it is now called Wayground, and quizizz.com/join takes you to wayground.com/join. Anything written for the old page is worth a careful look.

That is also why a script video or a GitHub page with an old date is a gamble. It shows what worked on the page then, not what the page looks like when your quiz starts.

Running a stranger's code

Every code-based hack has the same question underneath: do you trust the person who wrote it? Code you paste into the console, run as a bookmarklet or add as a userscript runs inside the page, in a tab where you are signed in. If you cannot read what it does, you are taking it on trust. A PDF of claims asks for the same trust, without any code you could check.

Quizizz bots are a different thing

A Quizizz bot is usually not about answers at all. Bots and flooders add fake players to a game, and other hacks try to change scores or hand out power-ups. They edit or disrupt the game your teacher set. Canvas Quiz Solver does none of that, on purpose: it is not a bot that joins games, a score changer, a flooder or a power-up hack.

Where a show-only extension fits

If what you want is the answer to the question in front of you, you do not need to run anyone's code. Canvas Quiz Solver is a Chrome extension: it reads the question on your screen and shows the answer right under it, before you click. More on our Quizizz answers page.

How to get answers on Quizizz, in 3 steps:

  1. Add Canvas Quiz Solver to Chrome on your laptop. It is the same extension Canvas students use.
  2. Join your quiz with the code at wayground.com/join (quizizz.com/join takes you there), as a guest or signed in, and click the extension's toolbar icon once. Answers turn on in that tab; tap "Keep it on for this site" in the popup so it stays on next time.
  3. Click the small icon under the question to see the answer, then click or type it yourself.

It clicks, submits and moves nothing on Wayground.

  • Before you click. On Wayground a click on a multiple-choice answer submits at once, so the answer shows first.

Common questions

What is a Quizizz answer hack?

Usually a piece of code: a userscript, a snippet pasted into the browser console, or a bookmarklet that tries to show answers on Wayground (formerly Quizizz). Some results are PDFs of claims or videos of someone running a script.

Do Quizizz hacks still work?

We do not test or rate any single script. As a kind, scripts depend on how the page is built, so a change on the site can stop them, and Quizizz moving to Wayground was a big change. Check the date on anything you find.

Is there a Quizizz bot that answers for you?

Bots and flooders go after the game itself: fake players, changed scores, power-ups. They do not give you an answer to read. Canvas Quiz Solver is not a bot: it shows the answer and never clicks or submits.

Are Quizizz hacks safe?

A script, console snippet or bookmarklet runs a stranger's code in a tab where you are signed in. Read what it does before you run anything, or use a tool that does not ask you to run code.

Is Canvas Quiz Solver a Quizizz hack?

No. It is a Chrome extension that reads the question on your screen and shows the answer under it. It does not edit the game, change scores or join games, and it never clicks, submits or moves a tile.

How do I get answers on Quizizz without a script?

Add Canvas Quiz Solver to Chrome, join your quiz and click the extension icon once. Click the small icon under a question and the answer shows there. You click or type the answer yourself.
