Quizard AI review: what you get

Quizard AI, Inc. calls Quizard "your academic copilot". You take a picture of a question, get an answer with an explanation, and can ask follow-up questions. The same Pro subscription works in the phone app and the Chrome extension.

Is Quizard AI legit?

Yes, it is a real product from a real company. On 2026-10-08 its App Store listing showed 4.7 stars from 59K ratings, its Google Play listing 4.7 stars and 1M+ downloads, and its Chrome extension 20,000 users. Like any AI tool it can be wrong. Answering a review about wrong highlighted answers, the developer wrote: "As an AI-powered app, Quizard has limitations in its ability to accurately answer all questions." Refunds for App Store subscriptions go through Apple, the developer says in the same reply.

Quizard on a Canvas quiz: phone, screenshot or in-page

With the phone app, you photograph your laptop screen, read the answer on the phone and click it in Canvas. The Canvas quiz log cannot see your phone, because Canvas only records events on its own page. The cost is time, and every answer you save is logged with a time. On a webcam-proctored exam, a phone is what the camera looks for.

With the Chrome extension, you screenshot or highlight the question on the quiz page. We have not tested whether its screenshot tool or its window takes focus from the quiz page, so we do not claim it either way. If you open Quizard in another tab or window, Canvas logs Stopped viewing, because the quiz log writes it when a student "opens a new browser tab, or navigates to a different program" (Instructure quiz log guide). With Canvas Quiz Solver, nothing leaves the page. The extension reads the question where it is and writes the answer under it.
