The Edpuzzle hack that shows the answer on the question
When an Edpuzzle video stops on a question, Canvas Quiz Solver shows the answer right under it, in the same tab. It reads multiple choice and open-ended questions, and you tick or type the answer and press Submit yourself. It does not skip or speed up the video.
Edpuzzle answers show up where the video stops
The answer comes to the lesson you are already in, not the other way round.
Canvas Quiz Solver reads the Edpuzzle question on your screen and shows an AI answer right under it.
An Edpuzzle lesson stops the video on each question your teacher added. Without help, that means pausing, copying the question into a chatbot, and coming back. Here nothing is copied. The extension reads the question card as Edpuzzle shows it, pictures included, and the answer appears under it.
On a multiple choice question the answer sits under the question, and a question that says "select 2" gets both answers. On an open-ended question you get a written answer to read, and you type your own answer in the box.
Answers come from AI, so read them like a second opinion from a smart classmate. They can be wrong, and you are the one who ticks, types and submits.
How it works on Edpuzzle, in three steps
About a minute: add the extension, open your lesson, then click the icon once.
-
Add Canvas Quiz Solver to Chrome on your laptop
It is the same free extension Canvas students use. Pin it so the icon stays in your toolbar.
-
Open your Edpuzzle lesson
Any lesson on edpuzzle.com. Watch the video as usual until it stops on a question.
-
Click the toolbar icon once
Answers turn on in that tab. The answer shows under the question card. Then tick the choice or type your answer and submit.
Multiple choice and open-ended questions
The questions that stop the video. This is what the extension reads today.
Reads
- Multiple choice questions
- "Select 2" questions, both answers
- Open-ended questions
- Pictures in the question
- Lessons on edpuzzle.com
- The answer under the question card
Open-ended answers
The card gives a written answer you can read. You type your own answer in the box, in your own words, and submit it.
It never types into Edpuzzle for you.
Not here
It does not skip the video, change the speed or mark the video as watched.
Off on purpose: LockDown Browser, Respondus Monitor, Proctorio and Honorlock pages get nothing.
It does not skip or speed up the video
Plainly: this is not an Edpuzzle skip hack.
Canvas Quiz Solver does not skip the video, change the playback speed or mark the video as watched. It does not remove your teacher's "prevent skipping" setting, and this page gives no way around it. Whether you can skip ahead is your teacher's call.
What it does help with is the questions. You watch the video as your teacher set it up, and when it stops on a question, the answer shows under it. Why skip scripts are a different thing is in our Edpuzzle hacks guide.
At a glance
- Answers the question that stops the video
- Reads pictures in the question
- Skipping the video
- Changing the speed
- Marking it as watched
You stay in control: no auto-answer bot, on purpose
It shows you the answer and stops there. Nothing is ticked, typed or submitted on Edpuzzle for you.
It shows, you answer
The answer appears under the question. You tick the choice or type your answer, and you press Submit, the same way you would without it.
Nothing runs on its own
It never ticks a choice, never types and never submits. It does not touch the video player either. The lesson plays the way your teacher set it up.
You can check it
Because you read each answer before you enter it, you catch the odd one that looks off, and an open-ended answer goes in your own words.
Where it does not run
It reads the questions in Edpuzzle lessons. It stays off on proctored pages, and it gets around nothing.
Proctored pages
When a page carries the marks of LockDown Browser, Respondus Monitor, Proctorio or Honorlock, the extension turns off and shows nothing. It gets around nothing, and it does not hide from anything. More in does LockDown Browser record you.
Teacher settings and other questions
It reads multiple choice and open-ended questions on edpuzzle.com lessons. It does not change any setting your teacher picked, such as "prevent skipping". For a question it does not read, Snap a question: press Alt+Shift+S and drag a box over it.

Why not a ChatGPT tab, an answer key or a script?
Because the answer you need is for the question on your screen, right now.
Answer keys and shared docs
A key posted online is usually made for someone else's lesson. If your teacher's questions differ, the answers do not fit, and you only find out after you submit.
Console scripts and bookmarklets
They ask you to paste code you cannot easily read into a page you are signed in on, and they break when the site changes. Our Edpuzzle hacks guide sorts them out.
The answer in the page
A chatbot tab means copying each question and describing each picture. Canvas Quiz Solver reads your question where it already is and shows the answer under it.

Questions about Edpuzzle answers
Does it answer Edpuzzle for me?
No. It shows the answer under the question that stops the video, and you tick the choice or type your answer and press Submit yourself. It never ticks a choice, types or submits anything on Edpuzzle.
Can it skip Edpuzzle videos or speed them up?
No. It does not skip the video, change the speed or mark the video as watched, and it does not remove your teacher's "prevent skipping" setting. Your teacher decides whether you can skip ahead. The extension helps when the video stops on a question.
How do I get answers on Edpuzzle?
Add Canvas Quiz Solver to Chrome, open your lesson on edpuzzle.com and click the extension icon once. When the video stops on a question, the answer shows under it.
Which Edpuzzle questions does it work on?
Multiple choice and open-ended questions that stop the video, on edpuzzle.com lessons. Questions that say "select 2" get both answers, and pictures in the question are read.
What does it do on open-ended questions?
It shows a written answer you can read. You type your own answer in the box and submit it. It never types into Edpuzzle for you.
Is there an Edpuzzle answer key?
Not one you can count on. A key posted online is usually made for someone else's lesson, and its questions may not match yours. Canvas Quiz Solver reads the question on your screen instead.
Is it the same subscription as Canvas?
Yes. One account and one plan cover Edpuzzle, Wayground (formerly Quizizz), IXL, Canvas quizzes, McGraw Hill, ALEKS, Pearson MyLab, Khan Academy, MyOpenMath and Google Forms quizzes.
Is it free?
You can add it free and try it with free answers. Free answers can run out mid-assignment. Unlimited is $14.99 a month or $48.99 for a 4-month semester.
